Why the Elderly

For individuals caring for an elderly person, during their final days, priorities can change dramatically. The enigma of life without our loved one doesn't fully set in until they are gone.

Thus, the idea of a foundation which granted wishes to the elderly was pursued by Rebecca Crowder when her mother, Elizabeth Baudino McWhorter, died. Rebecca used inheritance money to complete two wishes. Seeing the joy in the faces of the recipients, the idea to grant wishes to seniors was born.

Through Their Eyes

Looking through eyes of a caregiver of the elderly, much can be revealed. Caring for an elderly parent, family members, friend or loved one can be one of life's most consuming tasks. The rewards are few and the journey can be long. Tranquility and rewarding days are what we really want for the elderly, yet they often suffer from depression; and live in self imposed isolation because of debilitating bodies and minds. A wish will bring them joy!
