Funding
Our wishes are made possible through individual and corporate donations, memorials, car donations, a foundation grant, and our major fundraisers - The Sustaining Wish Angel Membership and the Annual Heart to Heart Ball.
All donations of time money or in-kind gifts are tax deductible.
Every Wish is Special
The smiles, the tears, the laughter and love of friends and families are the rewards we receive from granting wishes.
These wishes are small in nature but are very large in the hearts of the wish recipients and their loved ones.

About Us
How It All Began
For individuals caring for an elderly person, during their final days, priorities can change dramatically. The enigma of life without our loved one doesn't fully set in until they are gone. Thus, An Elderly Wish Foundation was created in memory of Rebecca Crowder's Mother, Elizabeth Baudino McWhorter, and in honor of all the wonderful elderly who pave the way for each of us.
Why the Elderly
The elderly do still have dreams, but they don't feel worthy because of their age. They do have minds with memories, hearts with love. The spark that comes with fun and laughter still shines in their eyes - just as brightly as those of little children.
- Rebecca Crowder, Founder -
Through Their Eyes
Looking through eyes of a caregiver of the elderly, much can be revealed. Caring for an elderly parent, family members, friend or loved one can be one of life's most consuming tasks. The rewards are few and the journey can be long. Tranquility and rewarding days are what we really want for the elderly, yet they often suffer from depression; and live in self imposed isolation because of debilitating bodies and minds. A wish will bring them joy!
