A FAMILY DINNER WAS GRANTED FOR RAMEY PEREZ

On January 24th Elderly Wish Foundation granted a special Wish to Ramey Perez.

Ramey has a terminal illness of MDS that is becoming a very rare and aggressive form of Leukemia. Ramey wanted to go to Oregon or Seattle, but he is not able to go that far. 

Ramey is now transfusion dependent.

His children had plans to visit in January to be with him. Two from Oregon, one from Arizona. His one son lives in Martinez.

His children came last Friday, January 23, 2026 and had the whole weekend to visit with their dad and mom.

It was so nice. They had a huge breakfast together on Saturday. Then family photos were taken of them all. After that it was time for dinner. Elderly Wish granted 16 of us to attend a dinner at Shirashonis. Ramey's Wife and their children were able to attend. Along with some of Jennifer's family, including Ramey's brother and niece. It was a fun evening. He was so thankful to have everyone around him. A book of family photos including this dinner was given to the kids on Sunday before they left for home. "The Perez family thru the years. Ramey living between the ---the best he can one day at a time." Thanks to Elderly Wiish Foundation for a lovely evening making so many smiles, some laughter and of course a few tears possible. The love that was felt from his family for their dad was just so awesome to see. Thank you again to Elderly Wish for making this all happen.
