A FAMILY DINNER WAS GRANTED FOR RAMEY PEREZ

On January 24th Elderly Wish Foundation granted a special Wish to Ramey Perez. Ramey has a terminal illness of MDS that is becoming a very rare and aggressive form of Leukemia. Ramey wanted to go to Oregon or Seattle, but he is not able to go that far. Ramey is now transfusion dependent. His children had plans to visit in January to be with him. SAVE THE DATE!! This will be Our "Silver Jubilee of Wishes." Come join us as the Elderly Wish Foundation celebrates a monumental accomplishment of serving Contra Costa Residents. The Elderly Wish has been Making wishes come true for 25 years. Our goal is to Grant wishes for our neighbors, friends, and your family members who have serious, chronic or a life threating illnesses. All recipients must be 50 years of age. We are celebrating this wonderful event on February 28th

JOY PELLA MOTL'S WISH CAME TRUE!!! JOY SEEN THE ROCKETTES IN PERSON

The Elderly Wish Foundation granted Joy Pella Motl's a very special wish. On December 9th, 2025, Joy was able to fly to New York with her family. Her wish was to see the Famous Rockettes perform in person. Joy's wish came true as she was able to meet and see the famous ROCKETTES perform . Javier Ortega gets a Special Wish to Share!!!

Chaplain Jeff from the Palliative Care Team at John Muir requested a Wish for Javier Ortega. Javier is a 63-year-old client who wished for a Saxophone. Music is his lifeline. This is his way of bringing joy to others and finding purpose amid hardships. A chance to play again not only brightens his day, but brings joy to everyone who hears his music. Joyce Turner, our Warrior fan, meets Steph Curry!!!

When Joyce Turner, from Antioch, was told she had terminal cancer she contacted Elderly Wish Foundation. She wrote that her wish was to go with her daughter and grandson to meet Steph Curry. Joyce claims she is his # 1 Fan. Her home proves it with many memorabilia items collected over the years. Seeing Steph would be an absolute dream come true! BELINDA PEREZ WAS GRANTED A SPECIAL LUNCHEON

Belinda Perez wish was to have a special luncheon with her family. Elderly Wish Foundation granted her a very special lunch with her family at Shirasonis here is Antioch. She was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers, a very pretty corsage. She also had a special cake in her honor made by Mike's Pastry shop. Everything was beautiful.

ALINA ROBIN -WILLETT'S DISNEYLAND WISH

Alina's wish was to go to Disneyland. She was so grateful to the Elderly Wish Foundation for sending her family to Disneyland. They all had an amazing time. It filled her heart with joy to watch her children and grandchildren experience the magic of the park together. Her grandchildren had so much energy. Even at the hotel room, they had trouble settling down. But finally, were able to calm down to brush teeth, get to bed and they were fast asleep.

LOUIE ROCHA'S VISIT WITH HIS SISTER

Louie's Wish was to see his sister who he had not seen in years. This came true for him on September 17th, 2025. Louie is 90 years young and is on hospice. His wife Mary said this would be a great wish for Louie. Elderly Wish Foundation made it happen. It was a day surrounded with Family and friends. They all made Louie smile. Love was all around him.
