Wish for Ernest Orozco

Meet Ernest Orozco, our most recent Wish recipient. We received an email from his son Nick asking for a Disneyland trip for his dad, sister Emily and himself. Ernest was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in February and was given 3 months to live. Ernest has sweet memories of being at Disneyland with his 2 kids when they were younger and would love to spend some time there together again. Last week Mary Chapman and Nora von Ubin met the family at Black Bear Diner and presented them with a Disneyland package which included hotel reservations. They were overwhelmed with joy and tears of gratitude were shed. It was a beautiful time listening to them tell their story. It's such a blessing to be able to give someone the gift of joy and see the smiles on their faces in a time when they need it most.
