Phillip Lane Wish

Phillip Lane flying high! Phil is 87 yrs. old and is confined to a wheel chair as he is unable to use his legs. Phil was a pilot in his younger years and flew Cessna’s. He misses flying and being around the planes. His hospice coordinator contacted us and asked if we could have Phil go and look at some planes locally. Thanks to Scott Youngman at YES Aviation Services, Buchanan Field in Concord, who arranged for Phil and his wife Karen to go tour his hangers and check out some planes on September 18th. Upon arrival, Scott presented Phil with a lap blanket with planes on it. He was thrilled to receive it and was so grateful for the tour. He even got to go outside the hanger and watch pilot trainees fly and do touch and go patterns. He said this was a very special day for him.
